BONDERITE® M-ZN 20 is a nitrite-accelerated phosphating metal pretreatment, which produces micro-crystalline zinc calcium phosphate layers on steel and iron surfaces. It provides very good corrosion protection and excellent adhesion for painting or coating. It is low in sludge and can be applied in spray or immersion processes. It is also used as a conversion step in typical immersion pretreatment cycles, where steel has been previously pretreated to remove surface pollutants such as oil or rust.
