LOCTITE® DRI 5061

LOCTITE® DRI 5061 is a pre-applied, non-curing, non-toxic aqueous-based thread sealant with high temperature and solvent resistance. It is typically used for sealing threaded components like pipe couplings and fittings, with either parallel or tapered threads, against gases, aqueous and non-aqueous fluids up to a temperature of 150°C (302°F). The coating is dry-to-the-touch and ready for immediate use. This makes it particularly useful in high-volume production settings where threaded assemblies must be prepared for immediate use, and using a liquid sealant isn't practical.
